Job Title: Specialist Data Scientist
Employment Type: 3 Months Contract (Renewable)

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Specialist Solution Analyst to join our team. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of technology, data, and financial markets, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data-driven solutions that support strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analytics & Machine Learning:
- Act as a technical lead in the design, development, and implementation of scalable data and analytics solutions for global markets.
- Translate complex business requirements into end-to-end technical architectures, leveraging APIs, cloud platforms, and ML models.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, real-time data streams, and data connectors across internal systems and third-party platforms.
- Collaborate with quant teams, traders, and data scientists to support advanced analytics and AI/ML model integration.
- Ensure robust data governance, quality, and security in compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Lead API integration efforts with external market data providers, financial institutions, and fintech platforms.
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to drive innovation within the data and analytics ecosystem.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in programming and coding (Python, SQL, Java or Scala preferred).
- Strong experience in data engineering (ETL/ELT pipelines, data wrangling, performance tuning).
- Deep knowledge of API integrations, RESTful services, and data connector frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially in a data context (e.g., S3, BigQuery, Snowflake, Lambda).
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and model deployment practices.
- Experience working with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data-focused roles within financial services, banking or global markets environments.
Package & Remuneration:
Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, applicable industry experience, and previous earnings.
