Location: Stanger Industry: Automotive – Wiring Harness Manufacturing Are you a numbers-driven problem solver who actually enjoys digging into the details others avoid? This role needs that kind of brain. Our client, a leading manufacturer of wiring harnesses for the automotive sector, is looking for a qualified CIMA Cost Accountant with at least 5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience. This isn’t a back-office, spreadsheet-only role — they need someone who understands how production works on the floor and can translate that into accurate, actionable costing insights. What you’ll take ownership of: -Full costing process: standard costing, variance analysis, product costing -Monitoring and improving cost controls across manufacturing -Analysis of material, labour, and overhead costs -Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and margin improvement -Working closely with production to understand operational drivers -Providing clear, data-grounded recommendations to management What they’re looking for: -CIMA qualification (completed) -5 years manufacturing experience — non-negotiable -Strong understanding of production environments and cost drivers -A practical thinker who can challenge assumptions and back recommendations with solid data -The confidence to work closely with operations and finance teams If you’d like to explore the role, please apply
