About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team at Reinhardt Transport in Steelpoort. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management. Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of stock handling (Ordering, receiving, matching documentation, packing, loading, offloading, maintaining, picking, issuing, capturing)
- Accurate, efficient capturing and maintaining of the inventory management system.
- Addressing of inventory discrepancies.
- Control and issue special tools.
- Performs physical cycle count of inventory.
- Coordinating stock counts.
- Monitoring inventory levels.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards.
- Improving inventory management and procedures.
- Inventory reconciliations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Storeman
- Contactable References
- Matric
- Computer literacy (intermediate Excel advantageous)
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Sober habits
- Medically fit to lift heavy items
- Own transportation
- Working knowledge of inventory management software (advantageous)
