Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma / Degree in Safety Management or relevant technical qualification 35 years experience in Occupational Health & Safety (corporate or industrial environment advantageous) Strong knowledge of South African OHS legislation Valid drivers licence and own transport Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and related legislation Manage health and safety systems across buildings, machinery, vehicles, forklifts, and equipment Oversee contractor safety, risk assessments, and compliance Maintain all H&S documentation, records, reports, and legal submissions Conduct inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions Coordinate fire drills, emergency procedures, and safety training Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards Manage site security systems and contractor activities PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
