Responsibilities:

Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for hotel, bar and restaurant patrons.
Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks and snacks.
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Mix and prepare ingredients for cocktails.
Plan and present bar menu.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations & ensure minimum losses.
Maintain standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all bar areas.
Check drinks presentations and temperature to make sure of its quality.
Ensure everything in the bar is set-up and ready for service, including the coffee stations and all machines.
Assist management in taking bar stock.

Requirements:

Preferably 3+ years previous experience as a Barman.
Ability to travel to and from the property for late shifts as required.
Passionate about the hospitality industry.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, written and verbal (in person and telephonic).
Strong customer service orientation with excellent people skills.
Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments and across cultures and religions.
Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele.
Honesty, flexibility, accountability and friendliness.
Professional manner and attitude.
Punctual & self-disciplined.
Extreme attention to detail.
Basic computer and administration skills.
