Stellenbosch: Maintenance Fitter posted by iStaff (Pty) Ltd

1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Trade Tested Certificate
3. Valid driver’s licence (essential)
4. Strong maintenance skills with basic plumbing & electrical knowledge
5. Basic HACCP and Pre-requisite Programme (ISOPE01) knowledge
6. In-depth knowledge of HACCP Plan for glass and BIB filling (ISOPH02)
7. Able to be on stand by every 3rd week (Monday – Sunday)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Machine, Equipment & Vehicles

• Preventative maintenance & breakdown response
• Minor part fabrication
• Maintain tools, registers & order spares
• Liaise with service providers
• Complete QMS maintenance records

Buildings & Grounds

• Building and grounds repairs
• Basic plumbing & electrical fixes

Quality Management

• Follow all QMS & GMP procedures
• Support security and quality activities

Health, Safety & Housekeeping

• Sanitation testing & CCP control
• Maintain clean workshop
• Adhere to PPE & safety standards
• Monitor contractors and uphold housekeeping
