About the Role

A fast-growing South African payments and fintech business is seeking a highly analytical yet creative Performance Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing team. This role plays a critical part in driving lead generation, customer acquisition, and measurable business growth through data-led digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and emerging digital channels.
Align campaigns to objectives such as lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
Run A/B tests across ads and landing pages to continuously improve performance.
Optimise campaigns based on performance data, audience behaviour, and market insights.
Analyse performance and drive continuous improvement
Monitor key metrics including CTR, CPA, conversion rates, ROAS, and CAC.
Produce regular performance reports and dashboards for internal teams and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

Performance-driven mindset with a strong focus on ROI and measurable outcomes.
Strong analytical ability and confidence working with data and dashboards.
High attention to detail across campaigns, reporting, and optimisation.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
Collaborative approach when working with creative, data, and product teams.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field (essential)

Salary & Benefits

Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence. Willingness to travel between offices in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and Johannesburg as required.
