Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Procurement Coordinator
Purpose: Manage the acquisition of goods, materials, and services to support production needs.
Responsibilities
- Forecast material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and warehousing teams.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Manage purchase orders and inventory alignment with production schedules.
Requirements
- Degree or Supply Chain Diploma (e.g., SAPICS) advantageous.
- At least 3 years in FMCG or a similar role.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Sage Evolution, SAP, Syspro).
- Strong purchasing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and financial awareness.
