Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking an experienced Reservations Manager for a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of Stellenbosch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and service-driven professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in the luxury hospitality sector.

? Key Responsibilities:

? Oversee the entire reservations process, ensuring a seamless and professional guest experience from initial enquiry to booking confirmation

? Lead, coach, and motivate the reservations team to consistently deliver high service standards

? Maximise room revenue through strategic inventory management in collaboration with the Lodge Sales Manager and external partners

? Maintain accurate data entry, system updates, and reporting within Protel Air or similar platforms

? Ensure all guest communications are personalised and of the highest quality

? Manage VIP reservations, special requests, and resolve guest issues with discretion and efficiency

? Handle all incoming emails, phone calls, and messages, ensuring timely and professional responses

? Collaborate closely with other Heads of Departments to ensure operational cohesion

? Attend departmental meetings, compile reports, and provide performance updates as required

? Minimum Requirements:

? Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or tourism

? A minimum of 3 years experience as a Reservations Manager

? Previous experience in a 5-star or luxury environment preferred

? Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities

? Proficient in hotel reservation systems, preferably Protel Air

? Solid understanding of revenue management principles

? Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

? Highly guest-focused with a professional and approachable demeanour

Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

? Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

? Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
