About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Field Guide to join our team at the 5* Game Lodge in Timbavati. As a key member of our conservation efforts, you will have the opportunity to contribute to wildlife preservation while providing unforgettable safari experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting guided safaris
- Ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of guests throughout their safari experience
- Hosting guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing informative and engaging insights
- Facilitating guest transfers to and from safari destination when required
- Creating compelling content for social media platforms
- All other basic duties on the reserve and in the lodge
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum FGASA Level 1 / 2
- At least 2+ years experience in a similar 5* environment
- DEAT registration
- CATHSSETA registration
- First Aid Level 1 certification
- Rifle Competency for wildlife management and guest safety
- Valid Drivers License with PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
