The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional, informative, and safe safari experiences while upholding the highest standards of conservation, professionalism, and guest care. This lodge is located within a private game reserve in Limpopo and it will be a live-in position.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided game drives and interpretive safari experiences
• Ensure guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction at all times
• Share in-depth knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation
• Maintain safari vehicles, radios, and guiding equipment to required standards
• Assist with reserve management and conservation activities as required
• Work closely with the Head Field Guide and lodge management team
• Adhere to all FGASA, reserve, and safety protocols

Core Criteria:

• FGASA Field Guide (NQF Level 1 or 2)
• Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH)
• Trails Guide Training (VPDA) – Trails Qualification will be advantageous
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Valid PrDP
• Strong passion for wildlife and conservation
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• Ability to work well within a team and in a remote environment
