Job Summary
Candidate requirements;
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality, even better in safari lodge environment.
- Qualification or extensive work experience in electrical, plumbing and or mechanical work strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of solar systems, borehole pumps, generators
- advantageous.
- Must have a Valid drivers licence (PDP beneficial).
Candidate responsibilities;
- Hands-on technical expertise and leadership to manage a small
- maintenance team, maintain service schedules, and ensure the
- lodge operates smoothly at all times.
- Preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, guest areas, staff quarters, vehicles, solar systems, generators, and water systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults promptly.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Maintain plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and structural repairs.
