The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety, conservation, and professionalism. The lodge is based within a private game reserve in the Limpopo area and will be a live-in position.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the safari guiding team
• Conduct guided game drives and bush walks
• Ensure compliance with FGASA, reserve, and safety protocols
• Oversee guide training, assessments, and ongoing development
• Manage safari operations, including vehicles, guiding equipment, and standards
• Work closely with lodge management and conservation teams
• Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction and interpretive guiding excellence

Core Criteria:

• FGASA Professional Field Guide (NQF Level 3 or higher)
• Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH)
• Trails Guide qualification (VPDA)
• Valid First Aid (Level 2 minimum)
• Valid PrDP
• Minimum of 5 years’ guiding experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation
• Professional, guest-focused approach with strong leadership skills

This is a live-in position.
