About the Role
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full HR function, ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations, and providing strategic guidance to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily HR-related queries and provide timely resolutions
- Administer payroll and ensure accurate salary payments
- Recruit, select, and place staff in accordance with company policies
- Conduct disciplinary hearings and maintain confidentiality
- Develop, implement, and administer HR policies
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills
- Conduct performance appraisals and staff evaluations
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
- Full understanding of HR functions
- Good understanding of all the appropriate Acts (LRA, BCEA, OSHA, COID, EEA)
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Maintain confidentiality, tact, and discretion when handling sensitive data
- Advanced excel skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
