Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Manage vessel (marine) operations and equipment (container) management
- Oversee reefer management and logistics operations (depot, truck, rail)
- Drive the execution of operational processes, ensuring seamless vessel and landside coordination
- Take full accountability for cost ownership and operational efficiency
- Engage with third-party service providers, including terminals, depots, haulers, and regulatory authorities to ensure service deliverables are met
- Closely monitor all claims across regions to ensure effective resolution
Requirements:
-
A minimum of 10-15 years of management experience in operations and logistics within the ships agency industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams and complex operations
- Extensive knowledge of the shipping industry, including vessel and logistics management
- High-level operational focus with the ability to drive continuous improvement
- Proficiency in computer systems and relevant logistics software
