About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Housekeeper / Massage Therapist at our Intimate Safari Lodge in Vaalwater. As a dual role, you will be responsible for delivering professional massage treatments and assisting with general housekeeping and spa attendant duties. If you have a passion for massage therapy and are also comfortable with cleaning and housekeeping duties, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a range of professional massage treatments (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone) to guests.
- Maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the spa area, including changing linens and managing product stock.
- Assisting the general housekeeping or interior team with cleaning guest rooms, laundry, and general upkeep of common areas.
- Welcoming guests, handling spa bookings, and providing information on treatments and products.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- At least 2+ years experience in a lodge-based position
- Flexible and able to assist with spa therapies & housekeeping
- Trained; certified massage therapist qualified
- Familiar with cleaning and housekeeping duties such as general tidiness, hygiene and sanitation
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 certificate
