Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily lodge operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences

• Act as the primary host in the absence of senior management

• Coordinate front-of-house duties including guest check-ins, hosting, and activity scheduling

• Manage and assist with housekeeping and food and beverage service

• Liaise between guests, staff, and management to ensure seamless communication

• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and effectively

• Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management

• Contribute to staff training and development

• Uphold the lodge’s high standards of service, hospitality, and presentation

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a lodge or luxury hospitality environment

• Strong interpersonal and guest relations skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Well-organized, with great attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Professional appearance and a positive, energetic attitude

• Willingness to live in a remote bush environment

• A hospitality or tourism-related qualification will be advantageous
