Senior Pastry Chef De Partie | Luxury Safari Camp | Vaalwater
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Senior Pastry Chef De Partie for a luxury safari camp situated in the Vaalwater region. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled pastry professional who is confident in leading a pastry team and delivering high-quality, visually appealing baked goods and desserts in a refined hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the pastry team in daily operations and service delivery
-
Oversee the preparation of a variety of desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods
-
Maintain consistent standards of quality, taste, and presentation
-
Assist with the planning and development of dessert menus
-
Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock ordering and cost control
-
Ensure hygiene and safety standards are strictly followed in the pastry section
-
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior pastry position within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a pastry team
-
Formal culinary or patisserie training preferred
-
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and organisational skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistently high standards
-
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
