We are currently recruiting for a premier client of ours, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-pressure drilling equipment, who is seeking two experienced Underground Fitters or Millwrights for a critical role with a key mining client in Welkom.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Trade Certificate (Non-negotiable)
• Minimum of 5 years’ underground mining experience (Non-negotiable)
• Residing in or around the Welkom area (Non-negotiable)
• Valid medical fitness certificate for underground work

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing routine and preventative maintenance on advanced drilling equipment
• Attending to and managing breakdowns promptly and efficiently
• Ensuring strict compliance with all safety regulations (MHSA)
• Managing underground stock levels and spares
• Completing accurate maintenance and inspection reports.
