Are you a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional looking to grow your career in a future-focused industry? An innovative and expanding telecom infrastructure company based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for an Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
? What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage the day-to-day financial accounting processes
- Assist in preparing accurate financial reports on P&L, balance sheets, and tax obligations
- Conduct financial analyses to support key business decisions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT, and tax regulations
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory requirements
- Contribute to operational finance processes and identify areas for improvement
What You’ll Need:
- A BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting (Honours is a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a full-function accounting role
- Solid understanding of IFRS, VAT, and income tax legislation
- Proficiency in Xero Accounting Software (SimplePay is advantageous)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong overall computer literacy
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
