• Matric, bachelors degree in law
• At least 3 years post qualification experience with financial deals/ transactions either within a Banking and Finance or Project Finance environment
• Corporate Management & Acquisitions experience preferable
• Working knowledge of financial principles
• Commercially and solutions driven
• Ability to work under pressure and to manage a number of complex transactions
• Flexible, with positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Methodical and analytical with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders Languages
• English (Read, write & speak)

DUTIES

• Support the implementation of various transactions through negotiation, preparation and review of all legal agreements
• Bring the renewable energy project transactions to Financial Close
• Supporting the legal review, negotiation and approval of different Project documents
• and financial documents
• Manage and report on legal due diligence process for projects
• Assisting the development team on tender submissions
• Involvement with the negotiation of mandates and term sheets with lenders
• Managing the drafting of various notices and obtaining various consents in accordance with
• the lenders Checklist.
• Supporting the management of Conditions Precedent Checklists
