Job Summary
Develop and manage the annual budget alongside the financial executive
Quarterly forecast alongside Finance executive
Track monthly variance to budget and assess risk areas
Monthly cashflow with analysis
Prepare flash financial results for business review
Assess viability of certain projects
Ensure operational costs are optimized
Profitability reporting
Review financial results to actual expenses
G&A analysis
Actual vs Budget variances and commentary
Develop and implement efficient strategies
Project management of initiatives within the business
Financial planning and budget management
Management reporting
Ensure compliance of implementations
Relevant market insights and awareness
Develop and implement benchmarking process
Perform regular audits to ensure alignment and compliance
Drive performance measures and reporting to ensure improvement
Improve policies, documents and training
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in Retail/ FMCG or restaurant environment
Experience in Systems controls
Asset lifecycle management
Strategic and analytical experience
Ability to analyse and understand agreements
Qualification:
BCom or Similar Finance Qualification
Completed Articles highly beneficial
