– Responsible for the baseline management of structures within the clients product range.
– Creation of product structures and capture configuration items in the Configuration Management system.
– Administer and control all changes via the change process, ensuring the Configuration Management system is updated with the current engineering baseline documentation.
– Conduct CCB’s, PCA’s or document audits.
– Administer concession and deviation processes as Configuration management requirements.
Candidate requirements:
– Qualification and/or professional license(s): CMII or ISO 10007 or Technical Diploma or Certificate
– Years of experience needed: 4
– Own transport (yes/no): No
– Proficiency in certain applications and/or software: MS windows & MS Office – advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.
– Sound knowledge of Configuration management
Non-negotiable Skills
– Detailed knowledge of configuration principles.
– Detailed knowledge of configuration management processes.
– General knowledge of business processes.
– Very proficient MS windows & MS Office user.
– Knowledge as a user on one of the major Configuration
– Management or PLM systems.
Additional information
Advantageous:
– Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
– Experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering documentation.
