Key Responsibilities

• Validate models across forecasting, stress testing, pricing, IFRS 9, capital, and fraud
• Develop independent challenger models to assess accuracy and performance
• Review model methodologies, assumptions, and governance documentation
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

• Minimum: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science
• Ideal: Honours in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science

Experience:

• 3–6 years in financial modelling (forecasting, stress testing, pricing, capital modelling, IFRS 9)
• Exposure to model development or validation environments

Skills:

• Advanced analytical and quantitative ability
• Strong coding skills (SQL, Python, R advantageous)
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work across teams

Non-negotiables:

• Proven financial modelling experience
• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
