Job Summary
Food Safety:
- Set implement and control food safety standard in area of responsibility
- See to 100% adherence to PPE standard.
- See to adherence to PRP for food safety within the FG environment
People Management:
- Ensure teams’ performance targets are executed.
- Ensure each team member has the input tools required to successfully execute their tasks. Forklift tags, RF users, warehouse layouts and various tools as required
- Driving team performance, fostering employee growth, and ensuring strategic goals are met.
Waste Management:
- Control, Monitor and improve WIP waste. Control and drive down left behinds in the environment.
- Control, monitor and improve on FG warehouse waste
- Identify potential left behinds through the Prestage program and solve on shift
Operations management of the FG warehouse:
- Ensure the warehouse layout is up to date and adhered to. Regulated location above 99.6%
- Ensure Default locations are managed and maintained under 2 rows on the E1 and FG pivot
- Ensure fast moving locations integrity is kept to a 99% standard.
- Ensure warehouse is stacked according to the forklift code of conduct
- Prestage Process is maintained and improved
Waste production management:
- Manage the waste team to be effective in waste processing
- Ensure the waste team abides by the rules and regulations of the waste process
- Ensure all processes has standards that are visually displayed, measured and reviewed
- Oversee the ATM for the waste equipment to be done on regular basis to ensure
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- National Diploma in Supply chain or related (NQF Level 6)
- 3 Years experience in a warehouse environment and or 5 Years in production management
- Knowledge of ERP systems, and stock controlling
