• Minimum 2 year’s experience in a host/hostess or front-of-house role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
• Strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills
• Knowledge of reservation systems and table management
• Well-groomed, professional appearance with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Must hold a valid South African ID

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
• Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable
• Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth dining flow
• Handle guest enquiries, waitlists, and special requests
• Maintain the presentation of the reception and dining areas
• Assist with guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly
