Key Responsibilities:

– Build, refine and optimise actuarial and financial models for Life (and occasional Non-Life) insurance clients.
– Develop technical solutions using Python, R, SQL, and industry-standard modelling platforms.
– Support actuarial consulting projects across pricing, valuation, automation, and model enhancement work.
– Analyse data, design modelling structures, and translate insights into actionable client deliverables.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education – minimum requirement
– Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar quantitative fields.
– Strong academic performance required.
Experience
– Graduate to early-career candidates considered (0–2 years).
– Exposure to modelling, coding, or actuarial tools will be advantageous.
Skills
– Python and/or R (essential).
– SQL experience beneficial.
– Exposure to Prophet or other actuarial modelling software is an advantage.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical modelling ability.
Non-negotiables:
– Passion for modelling and technical problem solving.
– Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
– High attention to detail and strong quantitative skills.
