About the Role
Network Finance, a leading player in the supply chain and logistics sector, is seeking an experienced Invoicing Clerk to join our team based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. As an Invoicing Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting clients across the region, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and issue large volumes of customer invoices, including foreign currency billing
- Ensure all invoicing is completed in line with internal controls, procedures, and client requirements
- Interpret invoicing guidelines and provide clarity where needed
- Engage with clients to investigate discrepancies and resolve billing queries efficiently
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing deadlines to ensure timely delivery
- Contribute to client planning and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with management to ensure service levels and client expectations are met
- Participate in client meetings or site visits when required
- Support the improvement and implementation of invoicing processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information, including seasonal changes
- Ensure all required data is complete and correct before processing
- Perform general administrative duties related to invoicing
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit requests
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Accounting
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- 2–3 years’ experience in an invoicing or billing role, preferably within Supply Chain or Logistics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Accounting (Matric certificate)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
