About the Role
The Junior Fund Administrator will support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits funds, playing a crucial role in claims processing, contributions, reporting, and system maintenance within a professional services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and contribute to the success of Fouche & Co Recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate redemption and disinvestment instructions for claims
- Process ROTs related to claim transfers in accordance with procedures
- Submit tax applications and generate claim EFT payments
- Validate and sign off claim letters prior to release
- Process monthly contributions and support month-end activities
- Assist with month-end accounting and financial control processes
- Prepare and compile client, internal, and system-generated reports
- Generate and maintain general and static system reports
- Log, track, and escalate queries through appropriate channels
- Provide internal and external feedback on queries and processing status
- Manage and monitor daily activities and task completion
- Escalate workflow or processing issues to management when required
- Maintain and manage the claims inbox effectively
- Ensure member exits are accurately processed on the system
- Upload all required documentation to the workflow within the required timelines
Requirements
- Matric with Higher Grade Mathematics (minimum C symbol or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar employee benefits or fund administration environment
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, including advanced Excel
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Finance (completed or in progress)
Salary & Benefits
R18 000 – R25 000 monthly
