Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of annual financial statements for individuals, companies, and trusts
- Compilation of management accounts, budgeting, and reporting
- Completion and submission of tax returns and computations (individual and corporate)
- Overseeing workflow and deadlines across the practice
- Supporting the Partner in managing client relationships and internal operations
- Providing advisory support where needed on trusts, estate planning, and wills
- Assisting with SARS queries and statutory submissions
- Supervising junior staff and providing technical guidance
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent (SAIPA/SAICA registration advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax, and compliance
- Proficiency in CaseWare, Pastel, Xero or similar
- Experience working with trusts and wills is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
