Duties:
 
Strategy and Execution:
 
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products to customers, optimizing distribution channels and managing relationships with distributors and partners.
Analyse market trends and customer needs
Coordinate marketing with marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Monitoring sales data, analysing results, and providing regular updates to management.
 
Distribution Management:
 
Manages room inventory across various sales channels to maximize bookings and revenue.
This involves a strategic approach to deciding which channels to utilize and how to optimize their performance.
It encompasses both online and offline channels, with the goal of reaching a wide range of potential guests.
Plan and execute delivery schedules
 
Relationship Management:
 
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors
Resolve customer issues and complaints
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and distributors
 
Requirements:
 
Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role
Knowledge of OTA extranets and Siteminder backend
Strong understanding of revenue management and digital marketing within the hospitality industry
