Job Description
Conduct night audit procedures, reconciling daily transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial reports.
Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries in a warm and professional manner.
Ensure a smooth transition between evening and morning shifts, communicating important information to day staff.
Monitor hotel security and respond to any incidents or guest concerns during night shifts.
Process reservations, handle guest requests, and provide concierge services as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
Perform end-of-day financial balancing and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provide relief support to the reception team during peak periods or staff absences.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Previous experience in a night audit or front desk role in a luxury hotel setting
Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience in handling cash and reconciling financial reports.
Proficiency in hotel management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
Professional appearance and a guest-centric attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
