Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to work closely with various departments across the business and achieving a controlled and high level of financial awareness.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reporting and follow-up of financial checks for business
- Resolve finance queries
- Direct involvement and monitoring stock take variance reporting and investigations
- Communicate anomalies to relevant parties
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Assist with annual audit and BEE audit process
- Fixed Asset Register
- CAPEX reporting
- Monthly reporting
- Primary contact for insurance related support and claims
Education:
Completed BCom Degree (Finance, Accounting)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 2 to 3 years` experience in an accounting position
- Manufacturing industry experience essential
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports
- Good oral and written communication skills
