Job Description
Provide comprehensive support to the Operations department – by coordinating and executing a range of administrative and operational tasks. This role ensures effective control, strategic planning, and seamless organization within the department, contributing to the department’s overall efficiency and success.
Responsibilities
New Site Startups
- Ensure equipment availability, order new equipment, and arrange delivery to sites as per signed site costing. Communicate with Contract manager
- Setting up of system configurations for collections to take place
Consumable / PPE Stock Management
- Ensure effective communication with the procurement department
- Responsible for stock level management, record keeping, replenishment orders and issuing of consumables and PPE
- Monthly stock takes to ensure the correct stock is available
Administrative Responsibilities
- Scheduling and sending of meeting requests and assisting with meeting minute taking
- Responsible for compiling quotations and filing them in the site folders
- Ensure effective communication with the Sales department with regard to requirements for new site start-ups
- Keep the cost recovery sheet for all equipment placed on sites up to date
- Requesting of purchase orders for service provider invoices
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications and experience, knowledge, and skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s License and own reliable transport preferable
- Must be well presented, professional, and have excellent communication skills
