Job Description:
As the Payroll Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing across RSA, Africa and the UK
Ensure full compliance with payroll legislation, tax requirements, benefits, earning, and deductions
Maintain accurate payroll records
Prepare required management and statutory reports
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with the Employee Benefits team to ensure accurate employee data and record-keeping
Support internal and external payroll and benefits audits
Improve payroll processes and procedures for greater accuracy and efficiency
Oversee the financial accounting of share incentive scheme
Assist with general finance and accounting tasks if needed
 
Skills & Experience:
3 years in accounting, with a full focus on payroll and accounts payable
2 years of management experience
In depth-knowledge of payroll systems, accounting principles and payroll regulations
 
Qualification:
Completed Finance or Accounting Degree
