About the Role
A well-known Law Firm is opening an office in Plettenberg Bay, seeking a fully admitted Conveyancer to establish and grow its presence in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively building and maintaining strong relationships with estate agents and agencies in Plettenberg Bay and surrounding areas
- Acting as RVCs local brand ambassador and primary conveyancing contact in the region
- Generating new conveyancing instructions through proactive engagement, networking, and relationship management
- Attending estate agency meetings, networking events, and industry functions
- Providing feedback on market trends, agent needs, and opportunities to the Business Development Manager
- Driving instruction growth with the aim of establishing a sustainable and scalable regional operation
Requirements
- Fully admitted attorney with conveyancing qualification
- Eligible and able to sign off conveyancing matters independently
- Proven conveyancing experience (residential transfers essential)
- Strong attention to detail and high compliance standards
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
