Job Description
- Managing residential and commercial transfer files from instruction to registration
- Drafting and preparing all transfer documentation and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, and the Deeds Office
- Ensuring compliance with FICA and conveyancing regulations
- Opening, maintaining, and closing files accurately
- Managing diaries, follow-ups, and critical deadlines
- Providing senior-level support to the conveyancing team
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Transfer / Conveyancing Secretary
- Ability to independently manage 60+ transfer files simultaneously
- Proficiency in GhostConvey, LEXIS Convey, Stordoc & E4
- Matric required (legal qualification advantageous)
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
