With a strong focus on scalable, efficient solutions in the financial services and FinTech sectors, this company offers a unique opportunity to work on a long-term wealth management platform project for a major financial services client.
You’ll be part of an established team that’s been delivering on this account for over three years, now scaling up to meet growing demand. As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with business and proposition teams to challenge requirements, document features and user stories, and guide development teams through technical design and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client business objectives and define functional and integration requirements
• Facilitate data mapping and investigate service calls using tools like SOAPUI and Postman
• Provide technical guidance to development teams during sprints
• Conduct functional testing, support deployment, and manage release processes
• Triaging defects and maintaining strong client relationships

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 4+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role
• Proven contribution to software development projects
• Experience in financial services or FinTech environments
• Background in software development or technical analysis
• Strong understanding of integration and data mapping
• Experience with SOAPUI, Postman, and similar tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead technical discussions and guide development teams

• Ability to work in a structured, agile environment
• Cape Town-based or willing to relocate
