Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications. They will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to collaborate on projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:
– Design and analyze structural systems and components, such as steel, concrete, and timber, using computer-aided design software
– Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project plans and ensure structural integrity
– Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
– Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet safety and building code requirements
– Perform site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and identify potential issues
– Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and junior engineers
– Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to structural engineering
– Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design engineering
– Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and structural analysis programs
– Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
