- Proven experience in an internal sales position, preferably within the building materials industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
- Well-organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage quotes, sales orders, and follow-ups effectively
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a strong commitment to outstanding customer service
DUTIES
- Handle inbound sales enquiries from contractors, fabricators, wholesalers, and walk-in customers
- Prepare and follow up on quotations for aluminium products, systems, and accessories
- Process sales orders accurately, ensuring correct specifications, pricing, and lead times
- Provide product advice and technical support on aluminium profiles, systems, and finishes
- Liaise with production, warehouse, and dispatch teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time
- Maintain regular contact with customers to manage order progress and resolve queries
- Support external Sales Representatives with quotes, pricing, and customer information
- Capture and update customer details, quotes, and orders on the company CRM or ERP system
- Handle after-sales support, including order amendments, returns, and customer queries
- Ensure a high level of customer service while meeting sales targets and turnaround times
