Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and technical work in the hotel workshop.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and hotel assets are maintained to high operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment and furniture.
- Repair, refurbish, and fabricate components as required in the workshop.
- Maintain and operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
Quality & Standards
- Ensure all repairs and workshop outputs meet high standards of quality, durability, and finish.
- Inspect completed work to ensure consistency and reliability.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Manage workshop materials, tools, and inventory to ensure availability and minimize waste.
- Report shortages, defects, or equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Manager.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow strict occupational health and safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Ensure safe handling of machinery, tools, chemicals, and materials.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the engineering and maintenance team to support hotel operations.
- Assist with on-site repairs and emergency maintenance when required.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Technical or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Workshop Engineering is advantageous.
- Proven experience in workshop maintenance, repair, or fabrication.
- Knowledge of tools, machinery, and workshop safety procedures.
Preferred Skills
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a workshop or maintenance role, preferably in a hotel, industrial, or commercial environment.
