• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and technical work in the hotel workshop.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and hotel assets are maintained to high operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment and furniture.
• Repair, refurbish, and fabricate components as required in the workshop.
• Maintain and operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently.

Quality & Standards

• Ensure all repairs and workshop outputs meet high standards of quality, durability, and finish.
• Inspect completed work to ensure consistency and reliability.

Inventory & Equipment Management

• Manage workshop materials, tools, and inventory to ensure availability and minimize waste.
• Report shortages, defects, or equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Manager.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Follow strict occupational health and safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
• Ensure safe handling of machinery, tools, chemicals, and materials.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the engineering and maintenance team to support hotel operations.
• Assist with on-site repairs and emergency maintenance when required.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Technical or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Workshop Engineering is advantageous.
• Proven experience in workshop maintenance, repair, or fabrication.
• Knowledge of tools, machinery, and workshop safety procedures.

• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a workshop or maintenance role, preferably in a hotel, industrial, or commercial environment.
