Western Cape: Xero Cloud Accountant – Cape Town – remote role posted by Michelle Cloete Consulting Pty Ltd

This role is perfect for a detail-driven, tech-savvy young woman who is ready to grow in the world of Xero cloud accounting. KPA’s: You will be doing (50% financials/50% accounting), drafting and preparing annual financial statements on Draftworx Cloud, preparing independent review files, lead schedules, working programs, reconciliations, and liaising with clients on queries. Raising year-end entries in clients accounting systems and obtaining supporting documentation, Capturing bank transactions in Xero and keeping accounts accurate with loan & journal entries. Analysing investment statements, reconciling against tax certificates and raising journals. Running Xero reports for management accounts, preparing supporting schedules and profit/loss entries. Communicating with client and intermediaries to gather info and complete tasks. Minimum requirements: 3-5 years at an accounting practice or similar job role, Draftworx experience, Good grasp of Xero (or a strong willingness to learn), B.com (but not essential)
