Job Summary

Were seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our fast-paced FMCG team in Durban. If you thrive in a high-performance environment and have a passion for operational excellence, this is your opportunity to grow with a leading brand.Key Responsibilities: Support the Store Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and performance management Ensure optimal stock levels, merchandising standards, and inventory control Drive sales targets and customer satisfaction through hands-on leadership Monitor compliance with company policies, health & safety, and hygiene standards Assist with training, scheduling, and motivating team membersRequirements: Minimum 23 years experience in FMCG or retail management Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage teams and deliver results under pressure Proficiency in POS systems and basic reporting tools Matric required; relevant tertiary qualification preferredWhat We Offer: Competitive salary and performance incentives Supportive team culture and growth opportunities Exposure to a fast-moving, customer-focused retail environment.
