Location: Westway Office Park, Durban, KZN
Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Role Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator to manage and execute accurate payroll, compensation, and benefits processes in line with South African legislation. This role ensures timely salary payments, effective benefits administration, compliance, and supports HR and Finance with reliable reporting and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities

End-to-end payroll processing (Sage 300 People).

Manage employee benefits (medical aid, provident fund, risk cover, etc.).

Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, SARS, COIDA, SDL, EE and POPIA.

Reconcile and submit statutory payments (PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201, EMP501, IRP5, COIDA).

Maintain accurate payroll and benefits data for reporting and audits.

Liaise with benefit providers and employees on onboarding, changes, and terminations.

Provide HR and Finance with timely reports and assist with policy/process improvements.
Requirements
-
Grade 12 (essential); Diploma/Degree in HR, Payroll, or Finance (preferred).

35 years payroll and benefits administration experience.

Proficiency in Sage 300 People, SARS e-Filing, and HRIS systems.

Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation and compliance.

Advanced MS Office skills with excellent attention to detail.

High integrity, confidentiality, and problem-solving ability.
