About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front of House Manager/Receptionist to oversee front desk operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience in Yzerfontein, Western Cape. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring efficiency and excellent customer service.
- Supervise the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.
- Implement and maintain front office policies and procedures.
- Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and financial transactions.
- Prepare daily reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage inventory of office and guest supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure the front desk area is always clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping and front office staff to uphold service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a front office, hospitality, or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines with effective prioritization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (NightsBridge experience is a plus).
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and adaptability.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or customer service (experience in front office not required)
