• Grade 12
• Valid drivers license
• Must be able to draw and maintain accurate records relevant to the function
• Fluent in English and isiXhosa
• 3 years + experience required as a Messenger Driver at a legal firm
• Must be able to interpret both incoming and outgoing legal documents
• Ability to work independently
• Must be familiar with Court practices and procedures
• Must know how to draw files at Court to lodge requests for default judgement, to check if a default judgement has been granted, check if any queries have been raised in respect for default judgement and to issue warrants of execution
• Strong customer skills
• Must exhibit high levels of professionalism.

Performance Areas

• Enroll applications
• Attend to the issuing of summonses
• Liaise with Court Clerks regarding various issues including queries in files
• Service and filing of all Court processes and maintaining clear and accurate of such processes
• Collection of post, deliveries and general administrative tasks
• Delivery and collection of legal documentation at Courts and other legal companies
• Delivery of tenders as and when requested
• Transporting of employees to and from their destinations.
