Duties:
- Conduct weekly reviews of the 13-week rolling cash forecast for South Africa.
- Oversee monthly review of all journals, ensuring cost accuracy for provisions, accruals, and reversals.
- Ensure completeness of reported numbers by reviewing Trial Balances (Ocean & CFS).
- Calculate monthly bonuses.
- Prepare monthly forecasts for Head Office and branch income statements for Branch Managers.
- Deliver management accounts to local management, including variance analysis.
- Compile monthly management reports on sales, direct costs, and ad hoc analyses.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
- Execute IFRS 16 processes on a monthly basis and IFRS 9 processes at year-end.
- Complete monthly VAT returns.
- Calculate annual and monthly taxes for audits and submit annual tax returns (ITR14).
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Oversee the audit process.
- Negotiate and finalise annual insurance arrangements and invoices for CFS and Oceans.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Finance
- BCom Honours
- CA(SA) or CIMA
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 5 – 15 Years experience in a relevant role
- Must have at least 4 years of management experience
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation

- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy
