Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust FSMS, including HACCP plans and other relevant protocols. Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 22000, FSSC 22000) through audits and inspections. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and control food safety and quality risks throughout the production process. Training and Communication: Train staff on food safety practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety and quality. Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and ingredients meet safety and quality standards. Investigation and Corrective Action: Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies as required, maintaining accurate records of food safety and quality activities. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in food safety and quality systems and processes. Customer Relations: Interact with customers and authorities regarding food safety and quality issues. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for food safety and quality programs.
