Hire Resolve`s client, a leading renewable energy company specializing in solar installations, is currently seeking a skilled and certified Installation Electrician to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of solar energy system installations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on inspections of solar electrical installations and issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) upon meeting regulatory standards.
- Identify and address on-site electrical issues, providing immediate solutions where feasible.
- Communicate site issues and propose solutions to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to schedule follow-up visits for unresolved issues requiring additional work.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to industry regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspections and performed work.
- Assist installation teams with troubleshooting and provide guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Wiremans License.
- Registration as an Electrical Contractor with the Department of Labour.
- Experience with solar PV systems and 3-phase electrical installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and capability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
- Valid driver`s license.
