The Payroll, Accounting, and Stock Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and executing all payroll functions for employees across the company`s branches, including individual retail locations and the head office.
This role involves optimizing payroll processes, ensuring efficient management, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the specialist will manage all accounting operations utilizing dedicated software and oversee stock management across all business locations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
 

Responsibilities:

 

• Payroll Management
• Administer and process payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.
• Streamline payroll processes to enhance efficiency.
• Implement strategies to reduce payroll-related costs.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations in ZA.
• Accounting Functions
• Perform all accounting tasks using designated software.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Stock Management
• Monitor and manage inventory levels across all business locations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage procurement processes.
• Implement stock control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in payroll administration, accounting, and stock management
• Industry experience in the food and beverage sector is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
